By the The Serenity Vortex:

It was at a tiny venue and there were only about 100 of us shoegazers, packed into a smoke filled room. They produced this amazing dreamy wall of sound, and whilst not being a particularly engaging band, the music certainly entertained us enough. They were so good I snatched the list off the stage after they had finished their set. I kept both the ticket and the list, this gig was also the day after a major turning point in my life (for the better!), and as such holds fond memories

Line up:

Neil Halstead, Rachel Goswell, Simon Scott, Christian Savill, Nick Chaplin

Setlist:

Avalyn II
Slowdive

Machine Gun

Known recordings:

Audio recording circulates.

Notes:

Neil announces at the beginning that Rachel isn't there yet so they began the show without her. This is why the first song is labeled as "Avalyn II" since it's an instrumental version. Rachel arrives after "Catch The Breeze".

Thanks Aaron for the info about the first song played.
