This was the band's first show in more than three years and the first since the Covid-19 pandemic started. It also took place exactly eight years after their first reunion show (after a 20 years hiatus) in London 2014. This show also marked the band's return to Bath in nearly three decades, when they played there in November 1993 promoting 'Souvlaki'.

The night started with a DJ set by Sonic Cathedral's boss Nat Cramp followed by a thirty minute set by Mildred Maude. "Sleep" a song by Christian Savill's former band Eternal was played live by Slowdive for the first time ever. The band did record this song as part of the known 'Demos and Outtakes ' prior to the release of Souvlaki, with Rachel singing vocals in the Slowdive version. It's important to notice that the lyrics from Slowdive's Sleep are different than Eternal's. This is the second cover Slowdive has ever played live, with the other one being Syd Barret's "Golden Hair".
